- Automatic disengagement: After the engine starts, the starter automatically disengages to avoid unnecessary load during engine operation.

- Difficulty starting the engine: If you notice difficulty starting the boat engine, hear a “clicking” sound, or the engine does not respond at all, this may indicate a problem with the starter.
- Unusual sounds during ignition: Sounds such as “buzzing” or “squealing” during engine startup may signal worn parts inside the starter.
